The Statement of faith which unites all churches around the world which are members of the Action Biblique church association.
In conformance with what the Bible says, we believe that:
God is a loving, holy and righteous God. He judges evil and the rejection of his presence.
He created us so that we could find meaning in our fellowship with him. But we rebelled against him. The consequence of our separation from God is eternal death.
God became man in the person of Jesus Christ in order to restore our communion with him. He died on the cross for us, taking upon himself the punishment for our sin. He rose from the dead and is alive today to give us now and forever a new life of intimate fellowship with God.
In order to benefit from this new life of fellowship with God, we must repent of our rebellion and believe that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead. We must receive him by faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of our life. We do this through prayer by inviting Him into our lives.
We realize that this salvation is a free gift which has been granted to us at a great price by God. We now want to please him in every area of our life.
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the Word and the revelation of God, our only infallibles source and authority. We affirm the inerrancy of the Scriptures and the fact that the 66 books of the canon were inspired by God. God has chosen, inspired, led and guarded the sacred writers to send us his message. Only the original 66 books were verbally inspired. We affirm the absolute unity of biblical truth. Understanding and interpretation of Scripture requires the help of the Holy Spirit, who inspired the sacred writers and can open our understanding to ‘us who are contemplating the wonders of your law « (Ps 119:18) 2 Thess 3:16, 2 Ti 1:19-21, 1 Pet 1:10-12, Jn 14:26, 16:12-14, 1 Corinthians 2:10-11, 1 Jn 2:20-21, 26 -27
GOD
We believe in one God, holy, eternal and almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in the unity of the deity while maintaining the distinction of persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Trinity). Ge 1:1, Isa 43:10-13, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:13, Ephesians 2:18, 4:1-6
JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the absolute divinity of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God.
We believe in his miraculous conception in the womb of the Virgin Mary (incarnation).
We believe in the atonement of sin by the blood of the Son of God.
We believe in the bodily resurrection, his ascension to his presence at the right hand of the Father and its perfect and permanent priesthood for his family on earth.
We believe in his return to resurrect the dead, remove the Church, judge humanity and
establish his kingdom of glory.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in his personality and the deity of the Holy Spirit. He was fully spread on
the earth at Pentecost (historic and unique), subsequent to the glorification of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates those who believe, to receive the Spirit (baptism of the Spirit is the initial experience of the Christian life). The Holy Spirit ministers to the Church.

THE CHURCH
We believe in the unity of the Body of Christ, through the incorruptible seed of the
Word and the Spirit of God.
We believe the local church is the visible expression of the reality of the Body of Christ.
We distinguish between the Church (Body of Christ) and Christianity, religious systems in the world.

Christ, the victory gained over sin through the cross, the fullness of the Holy Spirit, redemption, regeneration of the body and eternal security.
We believe that a regenerated soul is saved for eternity; God completed the work he has
begun. We believe that a regenerated soul is “sealed until the day of redemption”

THE FALL
We believe in the “Lost nature of Man” in their sins « because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God « (Romans 3:23). We believe in the universality of sin and guilt of the sinner.
Ge 3:1-8, 6:3, Jé 17:9, Mt 7:11, Ro 3:9-23, 5:12-19, Ephesians 2:1-3
THE LAST DAYS AND THE ANTICHRIST
We believe we are in the last days as announced by the Bible, with their
characteristic undeniable abandonment of God (apostasy), iniquity, wickedness, violence, seduction, social and political upheaval, outrageous profits. We believe that these conditions prepare the manifestation of the Antichrist and call for the judgment of God.
